What's the best tools out there for checking and changing valve springs with the heads still on the car?

BBC, Jesel shaft mounted rockers, Brodix BB2 heads.

Do you need to pressurize the cylinder with either of their tools to keep from dropping the valve?
For checking seat pressure, the Buxton is the Cadillac of spring testers, but the LSM will work, too, and costs half as much. You don't need to pressurize a cylinder to check spring pressure, but you need to do so if you're changing springs. LSM has the tools to do this. Remove the shaft rocker and bolt the tool down in its place.

The buxton is very reasonably priced, you get what you pay for.

I personally own the buxton and looked at both before I bought them. I wanted to check spring pressure with the springs on the car without two different tools.

125.00

The Buxton is nice but way way overpriced
Heres your deal of the day !
