If it wasn't regulated down to a normal level the 4 vane can draw too much vacuum in some cases, add a regulator to it.....
HELLO I HAD A MOROSO RELIEF IN THE VALVE COVER
Do you have a guage inside the car so you know it only has 14 inches of vacuum in the motor? I run a Moroso enhanced pump and a Moroso aluminium pan and it has 14 inches and it's been fine 140 passes now. Only thing I can think of is the thing is seeing too much vacuum inside the motor. Maybe the regulator can't vent enough or something? RM
OOPS, I figured it might not of had one.... Not sure now, Your post makes me think you have run data
" across the board " If it is not drawing too much vacuum, the pan just must be too close to deal with it. I would probably pull the pan and see if a stiffiner is plausable in the area of the rub to just keep the two apart.
YES A GUAGE IN THE CAR BUT THE PASS IT POSSIBLE DID IT I DID NOT LOOK AT IT ,CAN THESE PUMPS PULL THIS KIND OF VACUUM
My motor will only go to about 16 inches of vacuum. I run mine at 14 max but if you had a well sealed motor it could go lower than that I suppose. RM
