Big End performance was Vehicle Specialty INC.private line for years. Meyer Distributing purchased the Hammond warehouse and started selling wholesale high performance parts thru its own mainly aftermarket truck parts network. They have about 9 warehouses and several hundred dealers. I still buy thru them and yes they have cut back on inventory, but have all the lines as before. Yes more parts are drop shipped from manufacturer than before, but price is still good. Truck from the Jasper Indiana warehouse comes here in central Illinois every Wednesday if I order. The owner of that company is now an Indiana republican Senator. in USA congress.

Paul lives farther south, closer to me. Mr. Hupke lives a couple of miles north of us.
I was just at Pauls picking up a block & rearend. Paul is in a very nice subdivision, that's for sure!!!

I do know one thing, I will not be stopping by Mr. Hupke's house and just knock on the door!!!

Since Amazon opened, a lot of us locals bypass that area, and take the back road Mr. Hupke lives on/near.
It can be a madhouse if you hit a shift change.

I have to correct my post as the date was not correct. “Race Tracks” are either stage 4 or stage 5. The cease and desist order given to Daugherty Speedway today/yesterday, did not specify....Either way, there will be no racing in IN until mid June at the earliest.

Stage 4 - June 14
Marion, Lake, and Cass counties will continue on their delayed timeline.
More businesses will be able to open and larger gathering will now be allowed.
  • Social gatherings up to 250 people
  • Retails stores and malls at full capacity
  • Dining room services to 75 percent capacity
  • Bars and nightclubs can open at 50 percent capacity
  • Cultural entertainment and tourism can open at 50 percent capacity (Including zoos, museums, etc.)
  • Sports venues and amusement parks at 50 percent capacity
Stage 5 - July 4
Marion, Lake, and Cass counties will continue on their delayed timeline.
The state will begin to open sports venues and other large facilities.
Fairs and festivals will be allowed.
Retail and restaurants can function at full capacity.
Restrictions will be lifted at amusement parks, water parks, etc.
