Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to give everyone out there at the YellowBullet Forums an update on all things Quik-Latch

For starters, it was a nice surprise to recently learn that Gas Monkey garage included 2 pairs of QL-50-TW Quik-Latch hood pins on their "Midas Monkey" Corvette Build

Secondly, a couple more colors have been added to the Quik-Latch Mini latch lineup: purple and orange. You can take a look at the following links if you're interested in those colors.

http://www.quik-latch.com/purple-mini-quik-latch.html

Of course, billet, polished, black, blue and white are still available as color/finish options as well

Lastly, be on the lookout of Quik-Latches on several of the Street Outlaws cars in the coming season. John Adrade aka "The Cutty" recently posted about his install plans on his FB page, as has Scott Taylor with his "John Doe" Cutless

If you have any questions, you're welcome to email [email protected] or call 254-247-7962

Thank you to everyone here on the Yellow Bullet Forum for your support!

Everyone using these on race car hoods how many of the mini ones are you using and did you buy the extra spring kits to make them stronger?

I used two minis on the front of Mable on a factory hood with hinges in the rear and they held great.

I would like to use these on my hood but my concern is the clearance between the fender flange and the under side of the hood. How much room do you need to mount them?

For the mini Quik-Latches, 0.5 inch of clearance is needed without the use of a mini mounting bucket. If you utilize a QL-25-B mini mounting bucket (pin mounting cup), you can recess the mounting stud lower to allow for more clearance.

Anyone have any pictures of the mini mounting buckets in a racecraft dzus rail or how they mounted the studs on a mustang
