I've been getting asked a lot lately for updates, so here are some updates along with some photos.

We have completely rebuilt the entire floor in the car for tranny clearance. The car will have to be recertified to 25.2. Turbos are mounted. Exhaust fabbed. One header and charge tube fabbed up. Tranny mount and slides fabbed. New floater, new wheelie bars. New parachute bracket, new wheelie bars, intercooler mounted, etc. etc. All fabrication work has been done here at our shop. This is what is taking so long. There is a lot of other fab work we have done that I haven't mentioned, but it will be mentioned in due time. Wing and wheelie bars are at paint. Flame away!

We still have a lot of work to do, but we are getting there.

Thanks again to Chiseled Performance for the awesome intercooler, water tank, and tranny cooler. Rob is by far one of the coolest guys out there.

Thanks to JGS for the wastegates and bov. Lance and Brian have been great. Thanks again guys.

Thanks to RacePart Solutions for all of their help. Justin Timberlake, I mean Darin and John are great people.

Thanks to Billet Turbochargers for the turbos. Ricky is the man.

NLR Systems. Sebastian for all of the help and the greatest boost controller on the market BAR NONE!

Proline for building a heck of a motor. Eric and Kerry for dealing with the countless phone calls.

Tyler Clark with Wicked Grafixx.

Dave at Lenco. Great guy to work with.

And as always, thanks to the YB crew!

Brian Harrell, my dad, and my brothers Frankie and Mike for all of the help. We're not done yet, but we're getting a heck of a lot closer. I couldn't be any more happier with the car had someone else done all the fab work. I have been more than happy with all the fab work we have done so far. The custom QuickTime Motorsports headers turned out killer.

I'm sure I've left some people out, but thanks to everyone. We're almost ready to be back out ther again after last year's horrific wreck.

Maybe it is just the angle of the last pic but it doesn't look like you are going to be able to turn the wheel very far before it hits the exhaust. Car looks good and I'm glad you guys are getting close to being ready.

Its the angle. We have just as much as we did the purple car. It comes out as a 45 and right before it exits the side we straightened it back out.

Thanks,
Brian

Looks great Brian ! But I have to say that the purple coupe has a special place in my heart. It sure did go thru a lot of different changes over the years. When I first got it ( 1986 ), I drove it on the street with a 408ci 6-71 blower and a 4-speed G-Force then switched to a powerglide and it would run 5.80's Then came the single 91mm turbo and glide, then the 101mm turbow/ Liberty 4-speed behind a Donovan unit on 105w's and went 4.69 (2002), then the 106mm back to a powerglide, then you guys got it and upgraded again. It sure did have some history.
Good luck with the new car. Tell Mike and your Dad hey !

Thanks Chris. She was my pride and joy. Although, she is not dead yet?! Body is history....chassis is good. Have to front clip it and replace two bars, and new body, and she will be good to go again. Of course, it needs all new front and rear suspension. I'll tell the guys you said hello, but they will see it on here. My dad and Mike on here every day lurking....

Thanks,
Brian
