looking at getting a set of 30x9 radials , Hoosier as the MT supplier here does not carry that size.
Car weighs 3650/3660lbs with me , 68 Satellite with 4.1 gears , 5000 stall vert.
In the Hoosier there is a c06 or c07 compound , which would be better ?
I did try a set of maybe 5 year old #18212 (C06) 29.9 tall on the weekend that went all right .
They did hurt the gearing a little against the 275s I normally run ,
10.93with the #18212 vs 10.88 with a 275
should I look at the #18210 (C07) which is 29.5 tall ?
I need to slow down for the class , 11-12.99

I've run both the C06 and C07 30 x 9 Hoosier and I'd suggest the C07. The C06 is a softer compound and tire life wasn't nearly as good as the C07 and I couldn't tell that it was any quicker. Depending on how big your wheel openings are you might try the 94" rollout to put more rubber on the ground and kill some gear. I always ran the 92.5's which was all I could fit on my first gen Camaro.
