The Hot Rod Reunion at Mo-Kan Dragway was rained out and rescheduled for the 20th.

We will be there!

So far we have two 1st's and a 2nd in the nostalgia races we have run this year! (First place was a blatant cheater in the one where we got 2nd.)

Is that an NHRA reunion?

What was against the rules?

It is officially called the American Hot Rod Reunion and Mo-Kan is an IHRA track. They do a Spring and Fall race every year.

Running Drag radials in a true street tire class when the flyer and website specifically said: "NO DRAG RADIALS".

I'm going to assume you complained to tech or whoever was in charge of that?

Didn't see it until after the final. She was affiliated with the guy that puts on the event/leases the track that weekend. His excuse was: "She didn't fit in any other class." I called bullshit after the fact but did zero good. Took my money and will be more observant next yeat...

Typical.

Unfortunately the political bullshit infiltrated the nostalgia events.

The only events that I'm aware of that adhere to the rules are the ones the NHRA put on. But then, it may be going on there too but I haven't seen it in the classes I run in.

Typical Pontiac guys. They get butthurt when the big, black Dodge 330 shows up.

Too bad the place was under Missouri river flood water yet again.

That place has been underwater more than it's been dry this year.
No it wasn't.

We raced that weekend and I won my class there.

Here is a pic of our pits:

Damn it.

I checked their FB page days before that. It looked like they were closed again. I'd of gone otherwise.

Grats on the win.

I haven't been on the south side of I29 for awhile but I was on the north side Monday. The water is 6" from the road in spots there.
