I'm thinking of using the two gt42's I have and mild 454ic BBC, but need exhaust housings for them. What do you think t6/t4 and what ar?


This will be a track car and it still will see some street driving. Let me know what you guys think!

Would that give me room to grow if I put a bigger CI motor or just a better motor in?


Also what kind of power can be had out of the turbo's?

yep, you can always go larger a/r if you put a larger motor in and by that time Garrett will probably have the GTX update kits out so you could update them to GTX series wheels

I'd go with the 1.15 T4 housing or Tial 1.0 V-Band housing.

GT-42 turbine housings=$$$$$$$$
And good luck finding used ones.:(

If your going to spend the money go with the Tial's.

What kind of power can the two turbo's together make? I know the air flow will be more than I need for my current motor, but I will build another one after everything is done and running.

they choke flow at 100lb/min each so figure at most 2000hp

that would be a wildly aggressive tune though and race fuel

Why not twin s475's with 83mm turbine wheels? Pretty much the same specs as a gt4202 but cheaper.
