I am a NOS fan and a turbo fan... and the more cars I can watch the better for the class as a whole.


if you keep disallowing things just because they are "different" the class is eventually going to start losing fans to the outlaw 10.5 cars (if they haven't already) all that needs to be done in promod is keep the rules fair so that everybody has a chance.

Would you allow Nitro Coupes at 30%? How about 2200 lb. small blocks with PSI blowers? Or how about a 10 liter Arias, screw blown on 30% with a .020 nitrous pill for the top end? Where would you draw the line?

Those are all current outlaw combinations and they already have a place to race.....at outlaw races. Same with turbo cars.

The bottom line is if you have an outlaw combination go race at an outlaw race.

By the way, no one is scared of turbo cars....unless you're near one when it explodes!

Would you want to be in the lane next to that? Think about it.

IMHO the only reason we have all these other "outlaw" combinations is because the pro mod rule makers are too lazy to try and come up with a FAIR set of rules that would allow all combinations to come out and play.

don't get me wrong i love the N2O and that is what I have raced and root for from the stands however i think leaving some of the baddest doorslammers on planet out of the rules on purpose is a serious injustice that not only hurts the credibility of pro mod but also limits it's marketing potential and fan draw as well. All combinations (except nitro) could get along and compete it would just take some work on everybodys part.


as for your picture... anything can come apart on the big end i don't care what the combination was. There was a quote from Troy Coughlin (other lane on that run) And he basically said that Moran went by him like he was standing still. If that car would have made a full pass on that run I think we would be having a much different discussion right now.

Here's a perfectly good thread about the merits of turbos in Pro Stock. People state their opinions. Then you trash those who disagree with you.

If you are trying to sort out the truth from the bullshit then why dont you ask Nick why he deletes peoples private messages from there accounts? Yes I do know the "Facts" they were posted on the site by Mike Ashley and Don Stoud right after all the crap happened.

I think there is still a post from mike ashley on his own site regarding this.

if somebody's e-mail address is blocked then thier ip address probably is as well. so if he had to go to a different computer and use a different e-mail address then yes he was banned
