There is a kid at work who's got a DEAD stock '86 5.0. Just put a ebay special chinese single turbo kit on it (with intercooler) I think it's a t-70?. It's got a fuel system upgrade, and injectors. 9psi of boost, with 18 degree's of total timing, 10.6 A/F, on 93 octane pump fuel.

What have you seen a combo like this should make at the tires?

I have the dyno results, I'll post them after I get some replies...

I will tell you it's so dead stock, it made 185hp without the turbo on the same dyno at the tires.

480~500rwhp at 9psi of boost, and 10 degree's less timing then stock?

Im going to go with the between 350-400 also. How fast will it get to the end of the track. THATS the real question. He should have went with a used 87 up shortblock, heads, cam, and intake IMO. On my stock SB, I never had a Bone stock plus power adder car beat me.

My COMPLETELY stock 88 GT made 493 h.p. and 533 t.q. on it's final pull with a HP Stage 1 kit on it.

Then we had to push it off the dyno. LOL :)

No it didn't make that much. I was shaking my head at the 480~500hp guesses.

It ended up makeing 420hp /510ft-lbs Basically 115% more then the stock numbers. I still don't see how the hell that can happen with only 9psi, and 18 deg. total timing.

We'll see, it's supposed to go to the track in the next week or two, so I'll keep you guys updated. If it really made that much power, I'll be REALLY impressed.

Turbo kit was $1500.
