a big thank you to all the teams that will join the
exhibition show during pinks...the aim is to promote
the shakedown & heads up. sadly the fans won't get
to see awesome NOS & blower cars which sucks but i guess
some heads up is better than none at all.

Just thought I'd let everyone know i'm not sure where "michelle" got her information but I can speak for Tim in saying that our car is still torn down in our garage. It's true Tim has been working to get it back together and had definatly hoped to make it this weekend, but as everyone knows when it comes to puting a car back together, and making plans for when it will be back together, and in running order, things never go the way they are suposed to. We are most interested in making sure the issues we were having are no longer a problem at this point. Good luck to everyone and maybe we'll see you there if things go well today.

I can answer your question..."michelle" got her list and info from I...I did try to contact Tim, left a voice message. A list of entrants had to be posted so i included tim in the event he got back to me he would have had a spot. very sorry to you and tim for any confusion, we luv tim and thought it would be great to have him.

Not a problem at all, just wanted to be clear he is tryin real hard and believe me no one wants to be there more the he does He's trying but in my personal opinion if he does get it all done it will be quite a feat, however Tim has done it before so its not impossible. He was very very very excited about being invited, he was having some issues when he tore the car down a few weeks ago and there is alot of debate as to rather the issues are fixed or not. Tim was delighted to be invited and is working very hard since Steve called him (thanks Steve cause before that I think he was losing gusto) I hope he makes it, and we appreciate you guys including him. I just wanted everyone to know Tim is not trying to be a "no show" but being realistic is gonna be tough. Thanks again for the invite.

*** hello again *** when i made my post apologizing to you i thought you were talking about "Tim Essick"....now i see from your post you were giving us an update on Tim Johnson, not Tim Essick. As for Tim Johnson Steve Petty thought Tim Johnson's chances of attending were "pretty good", with that we put his name on the list and hoped for the best....we understood there was a chance he would not make it because car was apart. once again sorry for the confusion but just wanted to explain to you how tim johnson's name came about. good luck with the repair and hope to see you guys at a race soon. dave
