Thanks guys. I assume they make the crown thicker and move the rings down, but is there anyting else that I need to know about a good turbo piston?

What is your goal?
How much rpm?
What size motor?

S480 is a real nice budget unit. My sbf went 8.80's with it at 3065lbs in a mustang on pumpgas. That hp range in a stretch tho. Maybe a worked bullseye unit with a race cover.

I've had great sucess with Arias and having Mike Nelson as a fellow racer and builder of nitrous and NA engines give him alot of knowledge on what works and doesn't work. you can't go wrong with most suppliers but off the shelf and 1200+ hp don't go hand in hand.

In a boosted piston it just needs more beef everywhere. I use a .220 wall pin with pin buttons .017 ***** top ring. The ***** will help seal the ring to cylinder wall use the AP series. I also run 25# high tension oil ring with a napier second. Just make sure your current crankshaft has room for mallory if you go this route. When i buy again i'm going to skip the pin buttons but it sure makes it easy. CP has those light X skirt design but never tried them.
