It can do it. Won;t make alot of RPM but should be able to make somewhere in the 1500ft lb range,. I take that back. Depending on how good the 565 is in terms of heads etc it could gobble up a 106 fairly quickly.

gt47-88 would be too small as a single...either a 106 or 114 with a 1.50 exhaust housing...thats a lot of motor for a single turbo..ima dealer for precision if needed

if you go with the single just put the 114 on it and call it a day. if you put a 106 on it sooner or later your gonna want a 114 trust me , so just do it right the first time. good luck

Were have that same Combo right now BBC 565 w/PT106 on Alky, currently waiting on Mike Morans injectors to come in. Mike says on a light tuneup it should be capable of 1800hp. And Chris Uracthco who's building the motor Feels the same. Oh and it has BMF 385's

Single 106 with a G-trim wheel and either a 1.32 or 1.50A/R housing. Should spool fairly well and make the #'s you are looking for.

I am a bit slow-

whats the 106 rated to in hp wise?

Thanks

Nick--
Precision 101 is rated at 2100 hp, their 106 is rated at 2400 hp.

My buddy was running a 106 on his 400 ci SBF (7.64 @ 189.56 in Vegas at 3200lbs. on a 29x10.5W). Which according to the racing calculatrs is somewhere around 1700 to the ground.

If you can't excede the goals that you've listed with the 106, you're doing something wrong.

Nope, not too big. The car is definitely tire limited, as he would leave with I believe no more than 5 pounds of boost. So 1600 hp with your 565 should be a walk in the park.;)

Thanks Jimmy-but i am not the one with the 565 cube engine

but thanks for your info-but i must say thats moving with a 29 tyre-

if my 540 was not done yet i would have gone with a turbo set-up-too late

Maybe in the future

Thanks

Yeah, it looks like I got a little lost there, huh?

I saw you asking the questions and never went back to the first page to realize that you weren't the original poster.
