right around 5500rpm 20psi she let go, sounded like a gun shot, luckily didnt mess anything else up, when i took the down pipe off, the two pieces of the exducer came out the end, the bearings are in perfect condition, so oil pressure was not an issue, not sure if it the shaft just sheared off or it went out of balance and touched the housing and after that, it was all over

its a turbonetics old school T100 thumper

yep, i'm glad i kept all the oil lines as far away from the turbo as i could, you just never know whats gonna happen in this sport.

i should of never ran this turbo, we were having issues since day one with this thing.

Wheel looks WAY to heavy for a little shaft like that..

the shaft is .610 on the thick part and .435 on the smaller part

Its amazing that it had been recently checked looking at the pics it appears that it may have had cracks for a while.
