Anyone with a serious nitrous combination ever ride the dots and get it to go down the track without a issue?

I have never tryed it.

Lots

Lots of Outlaw cars do it, I haven't been able to make mine do it without a progressive. I pulled 30 total and still knocked the tires off, even on a little pill.
done it but you have to have data to start out with and have someone who really knows how to use this thing. Once you really get it worked out it's pretty cool. first gear only though

Get your car to a good chassis guy, quick. Your suspension is in a bind.
I use one of the original 7530 boxes and no progressive. Works well for me. I sometimes change the launch timing every pass depending on the track condition's.

It's not the suspension, had it to my chassis guy several times. Nothing is in a bind, it has all the best stuff you can put in it. Everybody that looks at it says it should flat out fly with the parts that are in it and the way it's set up.

It is front biased, but I'm not willing to hack the car to pieces to be able move the weight around, but by the same token there are plenty of other cars that are working just fine set up exactly like mine. The only thing I can think of is the converter just doesn't let any power get by it on initial launch. It's setup to not absorb any initial impact ...it all goes to the rear wheels.

Hard to believe a car can leave on 7 degrees of total timing, and still blow the tires off. Even with just an .82 pill in the plate. Even though we are limited to a 275-60.
Guys I'm talking about the slew rate rev limiter. LS28 has some experience.

LS28, Did you use it with a glide? Can you feel it correct for spin?
z289sec. Most radial cars can not leave with the nitrous on. There is always a little delay. No matter how small your pill is you will shock the tire. Timing can only do so much. Have you tried the progressive starting at 0 after a few tenths of delay?

Me and a couple of guys were talking about this also. What does the slew rate rev limiter do to limit rpm? :confused:This was our only concern.
Yep

I can actually leave on 35-40% of the .82 jet in the plate. But a lot of guys on here swear they are not using a progressive at all, and if I delay the start of the nitrous flow the race is over. Most of the other guys are running low 1.3xx 60 foots, some are even in the high 1.2xx's and running 5.5xx times at 125+. I can't be competitive leaving with a delay on the nitrous. Because nobody else is.

I believe it kills spark to hold back rpm. I know a person who claims they had a backfire using the slew rate. That has kept me away from it.

Maybe this is something you have overlooked. Good luck!

sorry its a 5.0 mustang mag........somewhat good info on the 7531 though....
OK

What's that mean? Everyone else is leaving on the bottle, and I'm supposed to be competitive by not leaving on the bottle?

HMMMM.... How'd ya do that?

That box dont have the "DOTS"..
I havent need to use it yet, we have left on 350hp on a radial with only 5 degree out on the start retard and it hooks awesome (Gotta thank Dave @ Team Z). When I start throwing the second kit at it, I might need to play with the dots to get it to stay on the ground !!!

Really... There's a couple guys here in Fl. with Big Chief 632's that leave on the shit with 315's... On of 'em goes high 1 teens in 60ft..
Better tell them that... This guy's got somethin else goin on..
