Hey guys my old tune up was 32n 24f 73n 60f 2 stages 9.81 compression 572ci motor. Recently I just installed a larger bumpstick and added compression 14.5:1, my question is total timing on both kits were 12 degrees total I know timing sounds low but I never hurt nothing probably e.t. Im going to start tikering just with the plate for know and then play with the fogger,Im taking things sloooowwww. Do you think this jet spread would hurt the higher compression motor.

From what I have been taught by SJ and others, be cautious with that 14.5:1 high compression on the dope. You're probably safe, given that you seem to have your timing retarded quite a bit already @ 12* total on two kits. I'd start with at least 2* less timing, and go from there. You're probably O.K. with the 12* total timing on both kits, but the higher compression "closes" the safe tuning window. Good luck.
