About to mount up some tires for my 2950lb (with driver) LS9 turbo Mazda RX-7 that runs a T56 Magnum manual transmission. Car makes about 1200rwhp on kill. I was running a 275/50/15 M/T Drag Radial all the time (street and 1/2 mile and it was very stable). Not launching hard it went 9.35@163mph (slip attached).

Rebuilt motor going in this winer... I ramp in the boost by gear/time. I purchased some M/T 26x10.5 S bias ply drag slicks to try and finally launch it harder. Should I run a tube?
I tried to run some borrowed slicks in the past (non Stiff sidewall) and the car was pretty scary/wandered above 100mph pretty badly. Put the drag radials back on and the wander went away.

What tire pressures do you recommend? I have bias ply 17" fronts also.

@Jason Moulton? What do you think?

Tubes it is.... not sure I want to drill in wheel screws into my 15x10.25" Bogarts that are powdercoated black.... What tire pressures should I be running hot/cold?
