tube valve threads sticks out a good 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch ... before nut bottoms out ... ????
normal or do i need to throw washers under the nut ?

also the tires seem to want 7oz to balance witch to me seems kinda crazy.... tried moving the tire around several times with no change..
this was done w/o the screws installed just to see how close it was.

they are like new (8 or so hits) 28x10's made in mar 2010.
tubes are brand new.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

The tube valve nut just prevents it from pulling back inside the wheel if the tire is deflated. It does not need to be flush to the wheel. With tubes, they may require more balance. I would not be concerned with that amount of weight. Question though - did you bubble balance them?

Thanks,

Jason,only have access to a HUNTER static/dynamic balance machine

I'm going to throw the screws back in and have the weight put on.
Thanks

Jason, Should we be bubble balancing or spin balancing? I have always spun balance and always have to add alot of weight too. Is bubble balancing better?
