Remember that Afco shock settings are commonly referenced from full STIFF, not full loose like other shocks.

afco said start stiff on ext an go back 10 clicks an trz says start loose on ext with works better? I no all cara are different so it may very I have a G body if this helps? Starting stiff at about 28 an going all the way loose to 10 or 12 is a long way off this is why I'm asking...I no trz knows there shit when it comes to g bodys but these people make the shocks

On a Radial ( thats what I am going with from TRZ's answer) it will like a loose ext and a tight comp. Remember it now 2 two clicks for what used to be one.

so go full loose then tighten 10 clicks on ext from full loose
go full tight and loosen 6 on comp from full tight

A bias tire will like a tighter ext and less compression than the TRZ setting so it can get up on the tire

Jeff's right, sorry, we work with 99% radial cars, so I sometimes just assume people are running the radial. With the slick, you need SOME tire speed, so a different setting is needed. Sorry about the confusion.
