My wife's car runs 10.30-10.40's in good spring time air (-250 to 400 ft DA's). By mid summer it's 10.50-60's (2,500 to 3,000ft DA's). It's a basic bracket motor, 377 Sbc, old, virtually untouched 230cc Dart iron eagles, 14.5:1 compression, old school .650ish Crower roller cam, runs on C12, Th400 w/transbrake 8.8 with 4.30's and a 28 inch tall drag radial. Car is 3,150 with her in it. Car has a Magna fuel 350 pump already and ignition has a single stage retard, i plan on using a digiset to control the nitrous delay.

I'm looking to add a 75-100 shot to put it to 10.00 so she can run the local 10.0 Index class. I have unused Nitrous express fuel, N2o and Purge solenoids from a single shark nozzle kit that was for an EFI car.

I'm considering this plate, but i'm not up on what's good/bad nowadays and if NX even has a good name anymore as far as quality goes.

Any thoughts, suggestions? How does this style plate compare to a spray bar style?

Rick, get this plate http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-70060/

I've used them on 3 different cars with great results.

I shoot a boatload through my I.S. plate but we run a small hit in my father's performer rpm plate just to run 8.50 index, similar to what you're trying to do. I actually currently have one of these plates on a car similar to your wife's and it runs surprisingly well. PM me for some tune ups

Just make sure the orifice size of those solenoids are big enough...take the solenoid apart and measure it with a pin gauge.
