I see outlaw 10.5 and Pro-Mod cars with no Trans tunnel. What are they using to shield the transmission?

Rossler TH210XHD promod..

2.10 first gear..

Stock case trans.. has had bell cut off and has Blow proof SFI bell housing. Shield covers majority of the transmission.
Tail housing still exposed.

I have no issues with it like that. But will be switching to a Case this winter purely to eliminate the shield..
