I've got a 94 Impala SS with the LT1 and 4l60e. I'm doing a 24x swap to the ignition. (adding the coil packs, pcm, etc) Using EFIconnection's kit.

I know something has to be done in the tranny. I'm not quite clear sice no one gives a straight answer.
So far, I've kind of gathered, the Newer style harness (in tranny) for 96-02, the PWM solenoid & the 3-2 shift noid.

Some of the places I've called say the PWM is a 3-2. Since I am able to research some of this at my job, the PWM and 3-2 are completely different part #'s.

My tranny does not have a PWM in it now, but was told I have to have one for the PCM to communicate.

Anyone dealt with this?
