My track switched brands of fuel this year. They used to sell VP but changed to Torco. I was planning on using the VP C-16. Torco has a Mach 116 that has very similar specs to the VP. Specific gravity is the same and motor octane is 2 numbers less (115 vs 117). Does anyone have any experience with Torco fuels? Does the Torco fuels tune the same as VP stuff?

Start from scratch with your nitrous tune ups. The fuels do burn a little different.. The plus side of Torco fuels is they leave a better fuel ring mark on the plugs. Bad side it there is everything from rust to baby guts in the Torco fuels. I filter the Torco fuels when I put them in the jugs, pour the fuel in the cell, I have a filter before and after the pump. Add a little fuel to start with and lean it down after checking plugs.
