I know I know, title could be the name of a porn....

I am building a 4.6 to run in Ultra and grudge race locally. I will be using a 3.700" big bore cast block.I was curious of you guys would leave it stock stroke (305") or stroke it with a 3.75" crank (323"). I will be running the legal 80mm turbo.

Anytime you can add cubic inches it is worthwhile (especially to the modular), the engine masters is a perfect example of this, where they were stroking 5.4 cranks which are already huge strokes. Another example is the coyote which is the same deck height and bore space as a 4.6 but Ford added roughly .100 to the stroke. Bottom line, the stroker cranks are a great choice, will certainly make more power with no ill affects or longevity issues (when properly built/machined)
