Can anyone explain to me how I went from a 275/60 Goodyear drag radial to a 27x10 Hoosier slick and the slicks hit everything inside and out. This is on a 15x10 wheel on a stock tub foxbody

the side walls buldge more on a slick then on a radial.

I can only run a 10 inch rim on my car with a radial, slicks rub.

If you wanna run slicks it sounds like youll need to find a new tire rim combo or minitub and notch is in your future.

I use the 28x10.5-15 on 8'' wide wheels. Never used them on 10'' wide wheels.

double check section width on the hoosier web site to help you select the tires you need. If using them on a bigger wheel then listed by hoosier the section width will also be bigger.

As most said above. Hoosier always seems to run larger. My Hoosier tires dwarf my old Goodyear's with the same dimensions. As stated above, check the section width.
