I don't have a picture of the pattern the tire puts down as it leaves the line, but it appears to be a pattern that starts out wide then narrows and altenates this back and forth. Sort of a wavey pattern. The car is a big block chevy making a little over 900hp. Car weighs 3260 with me in it. Tire is a stiff sidewall hoosier 28X10.5 with 11.5 psi. Ladder bar car. Anybody seen a pattern like this and what can I do to correct it? Need more info let me know. The racepak shows the tire spinning then hooks up. I have had some 1.32 sixty foot times but was hoping for more.

Thats usually a good indication of the beginnings of tire shake. Heres a picture of a bad case of tire shake from a low 7 second TS car we race with. Its taken from the guardrail, but should give you an idea.
What shocks? 4-link or ladder bar?

Heres the pic:

Heres the tire while it was making those marks. Notice how much of the tire is off of the ground. Only the center is still in contact with the track surface.

I have Koni double adjustable shocks on the back and strange single adjustable on the front. It's a ladderbar car with the adjustment in the center hole up front. The rear shocks are set 4 clicks from full loose on rebound and 6 clicks(or half way)on the bump adjustment. What should I try to correct this?
