I have a very small leak on the trans brake solenoid. It seems to be seeping from the brass shaft on the solenoid plunger.
If I clean everything off then manually depress the plunger I can see trans fluid on the shaft as it comes out. Then about a minute later there is a drip collected ready to fall.
I guess this isnt normal so is there a fix? O ring? tighen it up?

It does have a lip seal between the 2 halves. If you take it apart you can smear the smallest film of silicone between the halves which will stop the oil from migrating and leaking from that point.

It's a solenoid from the TH400 you built me Hutch. The box has performed flawlessly but I noticed a small leak on the trailer floor so investigated when I had it on the ramp.
Thanks for the advice.
