Anyone make a nice aluminum timing chain cover? I would perfer it to be a 2 or 3 peice cover. Its a small block chev Iron eagle with raise cam, Big block snout. My biggest concern its not cheap tin.

yes, It has an 0-ring but the cam cover sticks to the main cover and is very difficult to remove with out damaging and possible wrecking the cover and seal.

It wouldn't take much to drill and tap two small holes on the lip of the cam cover and use them for jack bolt holes. I never really thought about it, I have had mine off many times and never a problem getting it off

I wonder if the cam button "adjuster" couldn't be used to lift the cover off the housing. A little oil around all the contact surfaces would prevent sticking, with the o ring being the largest offender.
