Where is a good starting point for timing when everything is new. I have locked out timing and at the moment no way to pull timing with boost. I am running an f1r on a sbf. I have 77 and 50 pullies and probably going to spin it around 7500 rpm. Would 20* be a safe starting point?
Thanks

Alot depends on the type of fuel you are running. Either way I would start low spinning that blower at 62,370 rpm. Let your spark plugs be your guide after that. 20* is probably about right with c16.

I have an AIS system. At what boost level should it be activated at?
Rodney told me about 60% of total boost is the activation point but I only run 8lbs. If you ran 30 PSI I'm sure he would want it turned on lower than 18. You just don't want it to be so low that it bogs the engine.
