this past weekend at the track i notice that i had some oil smoke after making a pass, i tracked it back to oil being pushed out of the breather holes and i also notice that my dipstick was pushed up about 1 inch. I am currently running a header evac setup.

My current motor is a 13:1 347, trickflow heads, solid roller cam. i shift at 7700 RPM.

I did not build the motor with low tension rings with a vacuum pump in mind, but would it help my combination?

Are you running mufflers? Disconnect it from collector, leave hoses on see if still leaks, could be a bad valve, blowing exh. back into valvecovers.
