I see some people running spacers between the elbow and intake has anyone tested with and without to see any difference?

I have a wilson elbow and 90mm tb but the elbow is for the 105mm should I get a elbow thats 90mm or will I be ok?

Well I'm still in the building stage I'm trying to mock up everything so I can put the hole in the fire wall how so it will all line up. I just wanted to see what is the pros and cons.

I used to run about 4" spacer between the elbow and the intake on my car but never ran without it.
