It eliminates compressor surge and if managed correctly can be used to shape the boost curve.That's really really cool.
I'm curious what effect the throttle has on the compressor when you put it in front like that instead of after like we do now.
The throttle in front becomes a pressure drop ( loss ) an that means the density drops. That can change the flow significantly.That's really really cool.
