That's really really cool.

I'm curious what effect the throttle has on the compressor when you put it in front like that instead of after like we do now.
It eliminates compressor surge and if managed correctly can be used to shape the boost curve.

We patented a design I came up with when I was at ProCharger, but never really did anything with it..

The throttle in front becomes a pressure drop ( loss ) an that means the density drops. That can change the flow significantly.

I am not blaming (ATI) for taking advantage of the situation, but it simply amazes me that the MORONs at the USPTO are so stupid as to see attaching a blower to the primary drive of a vtwin engine like a Harley as a patentable "invention" rather than just a common sense "attachment technique" ?

To think that anyone who now seeks to market a blower kit for a vtwin utilizing attachment at the primary drive could either be forced to cease and desist or have to pay a royalty to ATI makes me sick...

Thank God the first guy who applied Vaseline to his penis prior to anal sex was not a patent lawyer!
