I just saw this. I ran an 1800 for two years now. Some street mostly strip. I just pulled it because at 800 lbs/hr it is only good to about 55-60 psi. It dead heads 75-80 psi in a 12V system.

I replaced it with a MagnaFuel 750 EFI pump. The 750 EFI does way better. It dead heads over my gauge limit of 100 psi (but takes a ton of current) and has no trouble at 900 lbs/hr at 70 psi.

I wish these companies would publish flow charts.

I ran the Holley 12-1400 for 3 years, had it level with the bottom of the sumped tank,
and dual relays. I had the pumps staged, sec. one came on with boost. I had switches
on the dash so I could man. turn on/off pumps also, incase one failed. On my new build
I went with dual AEM 380's, my thinking was if one failed, I could just replace it as opposed
to a whole pump assembly. But the 1400 served me well.
