Had our first plate only 8.5 race Sat. went testing friday night and busted the transmission first pass out. pulled transmission and put in back up trans late friday night early sat morning, headed to london and hoped for the best! We were #1 qualifier and we managed to match our class best from last year (5.39) and set new class record in the finals 5.34.

Just want to thank Steve and the whole team at I-S for working hard with us and the rest of his customers to keep us on top and in the winners circle!

Nice i like this car, and love those 8.5's waiting for the day that stuff catches on up here we got car begging for 8.5's ;)

Thanks!, (8.5)its struggling to stay alive here. lost it in louisville, osm is struggling. london is the only local really doing anything with it. had 6or seven cars yesterday. (i know of several just don't have cars finished yet) was hoping for 10+

we made a few changes, maybe now we'll be able to tackle the radials!

Congrats on the win. Nice vids. That car is leaving home. What kind of trans do you run if you don't mind me asking?

Nice job yesterday Eric. You and Martin continue to impress. Wish I could have been able to make that pass in the finals. I didn't have anything for that .34 but I was hoping for a .39-.40 with the adjustment I made for that round.

Tight field too, so it was good racing.

See you guys at Lake Cumberland in 3 weeks?

craig- we may. track makes me a little nervous. I wish they would have fixed it over the winter. but who knows!

They were going to grind the track over the winter but the weather didn't cooperate enough. The left lane is a bit tricky at the finish line but the right lane isn't bad. I get a little tire slippage about 450 ft out on the right side.

CONGRATS to you guys on some good runs and the win !! it was a tight field and a good time . hope next time we can bring more power !!!

Congrats on the win!

If you don't mind me asking, how big of a hit are you running through that plate?
We have run a lot thru it before. Can just call Steve if we need a tune up and it is usually spot on the first pass. If we have to more the fuel pressure a 1/2 pound or the timing a degree it is rare.
