Limit the front end travel. 1 inch makes a huge difference. More power = less travel

We just picked up a set of TRZ Motorsports upper and lower front control arms with limiters .............they will be on the car soon!

We have the Induction Solutions Real Street Plate on our new 410 cu in 23 degree motor.

The motor was built by Llyod at Springfield Machine in Virginia, Curtis at RFD did the port work on the Victor 23 degree raised runner heads, Gaby at Wilson Manifolds did the 2926 Super Victor intake.

I had the ramp set with a .1 delay with 30% leave and a .7 build time to 100%, I am going to stretch it out and utilize the dual ramp feature to calm it down. The same setting with a .065 jet ran as fast as our 383 did with a .092 jet. (the 383 left with .1 delay at 75% and a .6 build time to 100%)

I called Steve and we talked about the .065 jet tune up I had and it was wayyy to safe.

The bumper riding pass was with an .073 jet.

Yea we were close to that. I think the .093 will definately need the dual ramp feature!

Alright guys, we had a .065 nitrous jet in it today, 7 degrees out from 36 total, 5 3/4 flowing through a .073 jet.

Progressive set with .1 delay, 35% leave ramped to 100% in 1.0 seconds.

1.35 60ft - 5.77/120 mph 3130 lbs.

Tried getting after it a little harder in a TNT pass Saturday morning and had the controller get goofy on me again.

So we put the same numbers in it from the night before in the heat on Saturday for 1st round of qualifying:

1.36 60ft - 5.82/120 3110 lbs.

2nd rd qualifying

Upped the nitrous jetting, 8 degrees of timing removed, moved the 2 step to 3400 rpm (from 3200) .1 delay, 30 % leave ramped to 100% in .7 seconds

1.33 60 ft - 5.73/121.48

1st rd eliminations

We had a bye run and went out there with .1 delay, 35% leave ramped to 100% in .6 seconds.

1.32 60ft -5.72/121.49

2nd round eliminations

Upped the nitrous jetting, 10 degrees of timing removed, kept the 2 step at 3400, .1 delay, 30% leave ramped to 100% in .6 seconds

1.30 60 ft - 5.62/123.45

I had the same plugs in the car all weekend, used Steve's jetting/timing recomendations, C16 fuel, and the car worked great and picked up every pass.

Can't wait to put even more jet in it!

Nice pass sounds like you have a nice setup. If you don't mind a ???? why the 4150 flang intake and not a 4500?
Thanks! I have a 4500 here on the shelf along with a plate and adapter, it may go on it but right now I don't see the need. There's more that a few SB's I know of the hual the mail with a 4150.

Thanks guys! Curtis worked the heads to go after mid lift flow numbers, I am quite sure he could have really moved some things around and increased the numbers but I needed a set of heads that will not require a bunch of maintenance or were thin and keep their value for later resale.
