I have one with a "67" stamped on the lower portion of the tag. Is this a good indication that it is a 1967 trans? Is there a better way to tell what year it is?1964-1969 were the best for internal parts. It all depends on weight and torque. I have had some guys really fly with a basic trans (against my best wishes) but they did it and it lasted quite well.
Every monday I was waiting for a call that it broke. :smt017
