Just like any drug, it can affect people differently, I was prescribed gabapentin back when I was having nerve pain in my right leg, that shit knocked my dick in the dirt, it didn't doo shit for my pain but if nothing else, it helped me with my sleep better, 2 pills and I was out like a light, oddly enough, any kind of hydrocodone based pain meds make me wired for sound, but it knocks my wife out.
That's the same reason they give it to me for. But it didn't do a whole lot except make me thirty haha.

It makes me want to stay awke and keep working on whatever I mugbf be doing.

I'm 74 and have been on the all meat carnivore diet the last three years. Morning wood has returned.

I asked my doc to check my T and it came in at 521.
Nice...I'm of the diet is everything mentality...after doing the trt..and all the other jazz..I think it should always be diet first

46 and I do injections for T and take an estrogen blocker along with clomid to help with testes atrophy. Took a little over a year to find the right balance for me.

Occasionally I donate blood as you can get a condition where your red cells enlarge causing high blood pressure. It's a good cause and they love seeing me as I am O-.

Nothing but great results and would recommend to any aging male.
I was on that same regiment from mantality health. Unfortunately after 6 months got terrible acne. The first three to 4 months were fine and I felt great. Then the acne hit. Been off since december still dealing with it. I think it was the clomid actually and not the T.

Good advice

Bloodwork pre and post for proper assessment. Every few months to gauge impact and reassess needs. EVERYONE is a little different. Stallone said all this would be legal after he got busted in Australia with 40 vials of the fountain of youth

Test makes us men, when it whittles down men become soft, mushy inside and out. Thats why so many elderly become Libtards IMHO. weakness breeds nanny state desires and socialism

EVERY American male in their late 40s 50s etc should explore TRT/HRT to stay strong and active to keep the fight strong. Still cant believe this weak fucktard is our President

I thought the fountain of youth for older guys was growth hormone.
Average people could probably not afford the amount it would take to be effective. I could be wrong, maybe someone else will chime in on that. Even HGH can be increased with diet, to what extent i'm not sure. I never felt better that when I was doing a 24 hr fast once a week, that can dramaticaly increase HGH levels.

For some, age brings wisdom...

Your theory is interesting though, as a guy in his sixties, I feel like I've seen a few things. I'm not sure chemically altering my personality to stay "manly" is for me. My junk still works, I'll never be twenty again, I can still embarrass guys half my age on a hike up the mountainside.

Is the juice worth the squeeze?

At 70 years old I started the testosterone injection thingie back in 3/29/2016 cuz my blood work said my T level was 232. Day after the first injection T was 620. Was checked again two weeks later it was 465. So I got a shot every two weeks after that until I stopped it 92 weeks later due to BPH, ie 46 injections two weeks apart.

I wasn't happy with the nurses that gave me the shots as most DIDN'T know the proper way to give them!! That and I believe one of them DIDN'T GIVE ME THE ENTIRE DOSE MOST OF THE TIME cuz I seemed to have up and down spells that I didn't notice with most of the other nurses?

Other stuff, noticed that my blood pressure went up from 135/75 to 135/85 while I was on T. That and my body weight also went up 10 lbs as well.

Sex drive was up which was a good thing!!

Ennywho, like I said up the page, BPH came along and I just decided to stop it 12/20/2017. BPH is still around but I'm able to control it with a daily 320mg dose of Saw Palmetto extract.

Oh, and the last T check that was done at my Medicare yearly checkup in 2019 came back at 320 and I'd been off the T for a while?

Just saying.................

When I got Lyme disease my total T was 12....yes 12! No wonder I was sleeping 18 hours a day and couldn’t lift my ass out of bed. That Lyme really messed almost every system in my body. I can function now injecting .5cc (200mg/ml) cypionate.

I’m 45, 5’10 170. I was up to 210+ when I was really sick. I have tried to stop the injections but I lose so much energy it’s unreal! I don’t take much, but it keeps me functioning. IF I was smart I would work with someone to get my diet in shape to compensate for the shit the Lyme did to me.

TRT has had more negative then positive for me
guess i draw the unlucky card on that
there are various versions of T out the too. Cyponate and Depo is what i tried, Depo is brand and a little better quality = was less irritation when injected (at least for me)
i am trying it again but at extremely LOW dosage, Peptides have been VERY helpful to me...
rest below is sorta off topic, but sorta related too, and certainly NOT for a "penny-pincher"

what does work great for me is IPA, Methy-B12 inj, MOTS-C (that stuff is AMAZING, at cost F'n amazing but expensive: retail cost you better have some deep pockets), Tesamorelin-Ipa, GW501516 (that stuff is the BOMB, its an endurance enhancer), CJC1295 helps too but man sometimes the injection site is itchy as heck, and AOD9604.
want pep in your step.... PT-141.... i just one tick on the needle with other peptides, anymore than that... well you do research. I forgot the "brand" name to it is... but it WORKS.... derrived from the melatonin II peptide... LOL sort of a "side effect" LOL
only good thing about these types of peptides is able to get them at cost since the wife is a doc, otherwise.... OMFG.. and even at cost sometimes i wonder....
BPC and TB500, i have so-so results with that... seems new cycles of them really help but after a while feel like it doesn't (these two are healing)

Wife is on KPV (inj and tabs), she sees breathing improvements and less back pain/aches

first thing we tell anyone is to get a sleep study done, make sure all is ok, and other misc. labs.... need to make sure the cortisol levels are good, otherwise you are fighting a losing battle...

the one doc i recommend is Dr. Bird from transformyou in PHX... EXCELLENT..... NO BS.... no contract crap... etc..

there's a few YouTube videos to watch, like anabolicdoc, live like a viking, and some others (ben greenfield fitness... very good info too)
search for peptides such as Ipa (that's short for Ipamorelan), search for MOTS-C

another good site to purchase was OSGEAR
but i prefer real prescribed stuff, but as mentioned $$$$$$, especially when not at cost

in all honestly.... as with ANY med.... it's trial and error... and WORK... you gotta exercise to get decent results too
what works for one may/may not work for you too

Semorelin is another great peptide to take with T and cheap, and your insurance may cover it as its now FDA approved. i forgot the verbiage to use in the event a preauthorization is needed
T and B12 mix was good too, but i like the Methy-B12 over the standard B12 shot... standard one be prepared for the crash... at least that's what we've felt and some patients feel.
might be similar to the energy drink crash as some have reported back to her... MethyB12 is sorta different. I prefer that shot Intra instead of SubQ, but subQ will still do the trick. it doesn't "come on" as hard and way less of a crash of feel...

sorry for so long... just some babble as this has been sort of a hobby of mine the last 4 years....
and just remember... cycles.... the downcycle sucks... which makes you appreciate how you feel "on-cycles"
you'll be surpised.... about 2-4 weeks on... you'll just have drive/desire/motivation... without that struggling feeling or forcing yourself... at least for me thats how i feel

I'm 74. I was 235 three years ago, in size 42 jeans. I'm 183 now and these are 36 slim fit, and they are starting to feel loose on me.

My wife died from cancer last year. I'm finally over it and have started looking around. I joined adultfriendfinder but most women on there are 45 or less. Sure, I'd take 'em if I could get 'em. The trouble is getting 'em.

It's surprising the expectations they have for equipment size. One gal on her profile said "Come on guys, six inches is average". In reality, only 10% are 6" or more. I'm right at 5". I looked it up, 68% of us are between 4.25" and 5.75". That's defined as average. A couple of women are demanding 8", another one needs 7".

Oh yeah, another one wants an IQ of 165. That's one out of 50,000. Mine is 134, about 1 out of 100. So IQ of 165, professional, unmarried, etc means she's probably looking for one guy out of ten million. All because she has sexy feet and a PhD. And she's 45.

It may not be for everyone. I do labs every 6 weeks to monitor my levels. Prior to TRT my tested T was 286. I knew something was wrong, went to my PCP and he said that I was fine and it's just normal for males my age. I knew that was a BS answer so I sought out a specialty provider and sure enough my range was way out of bounds. Prior to TRT when I hit the gym, at the end of my workout I barely had the energy to unrack the weights. Drastic change. With TRT I have no issues with energy and my performance is better than most in there half my age.
