I understand the vertical measurement from a level floor but the horizontal has me confused.

From what I got out of it, I measure from the axle centerline to the center of the control arm bolt? I've never heard of anyone taking this measurement so I'm thinking I'm wrong. Any help is appretiated, thanks!

I have not taken these measurements yet, but I believe it is as you say. If you were looking directly at the wheel/tire from say the driverside. It will be the horizontal distance from the axle centerline to the centerline of the control arm mount. I know on my mustang its almost dead nuts 0 or very close. If you mess with the calculator you see that this really doesn't make a hill of beans until you are ~4-5inches from the axle centerline.

Good luck.

So the rear of the control arm measured to axle centerline. I see what your saying, and likewise on my car it's damn near the center of the axle or maybe and inch forward.

Ok, thank you. Just weird that I never heard of anyone take this measurement.
