I have an older set of Morrison AM struts, the top loosened up and I lost some oil. I'd like to take them both apart and replace the oil but have no clue how much or what kind of fluid to use. Any help would be much appreciated.

Synthetic shock oil is available almost everywhere now and is what you should use. In a pinch I've used hydraulic jack oil before.

How much do you put in? My guess is half way.

Measure it when you dump it out! DR
One side is almost empty, that's why I am in the situation I'm in. The side that isn't leaking is so old I have no idea if the right amount is even in it. Just didn't know if someone ever changed the oil and how much they used. I also don't know what weight to use. Lucas said that there are all different weights.
