How are you getting 3.25 stroke out of a stock crank?

Yes, but very minimal. You are just notching the bottom edge of the cyl bore where the rod comes through..Very easy to do. If you need any help with the 3310 combo, let me know, have some real good setups..

There is a tool that you can buy that bolts on the main cap bolts, and provides you a pattern to notch the bottom of your cylinders. I think we got ours off Ebay. $30.00 or so, maybe more.

I did a 331 DSS kit that did not require any notching to the block. I am about 95% sure it had H beam rods, but it's been several years ago.

A 347 is a different story.
