I'm a SBC guy working on a 496 for a friend. Rotator just came in, we're going to start the stroker clearancing this weekend. I assume the BBC work will be in the same basic locations as the clearancing work on my 383 SBC. Anyone with experience here, please chime in. Pics would be nice as well.

If you're using aftermarket rods, you shouldn't have to do much to clearance for a 1/4" stroke, if anything. It's always good to check, though. Bottoms of cylinders and pan rails.

I just did one with a mark V block, nothing hit nothing on that one. But like was mentioned check it all.
