Building a Tube car so its easy to stretch the wheelbase on the chassis
but i need to stretch the wheelbase on the body 28"s or so
where do u guys stretch bodies and keep it looking good
if it comes down to it i can do it all on the hood it will just look RealCute:

Ya probably right
going to end up giving it to a body/metal guy and going stretch it a foot at the door ( door is way to small for me ) and make it look good here's 10g
and I'll do the other 16 on the hood
just seeing if anybody had any other ideas

That's a ton of work, why not just stretch the fenders in front of the door, if you stretch the door you will have to do the rockers and the roof too

I'm going to do the majority at the fenders but If I'm going to do it I'd like to make the door wider as well to make it easier getting in and out

It's a vw fastback it's factory wheelbase is 92" and I'm going to try and take it to 120

yeah no kidding, 100 should get you anywhere you need to go

then again, this could be the first steel body fastback vw promod:smt077

pics are a must is you do any stretching

Ahh that ? Sorry I had to ask because there are many y ?s
well IMO u can never have too much wheelbase but the limit for adrl pro extreme is 120"
that and the extra wheelbase might let me slide a rear seat in for a few short ladies ;)

I'll be I woulda sworn up and down that it was 120" guess 115" is good enough
and I ain't putting no v8
it's going to get a Toyota motor and a lenco 5 speed
