ive got a pair of 10-5x28x15 mt et drags ive had on my car for around 3yrs while building it ive generaly had 25 to 30 psi in them so its easier to movethe car around ive noticed over time it appears that the gaps front and back of the tyre to the gaurds for tyre growth have got less to the point where the tyre will definately rub in the burnout is it possible that the tyres have stretched over time with 30psi no tubes im thinking no but i could be wrong any opinions?

hell yeah they stretch, expecially at that pressure. when new slicks are out, (1/4 inch or so) we'll overinflate the small one 5 psi for a few minutes to equalize them
