well..
after the truck load of guys with ball bats left....because the cops showed up..
we sneeked back to my buddy's Roadrunner ...backed out and split..
one of the cops dropped ot one knee and shot at us..
we did get away and back to "Burger Shef" ...

had guys from 2 towns come over to challenge guys from our town..
it was just too early on a Saturday night..the guys on bikes were stopping traffic to get the races run..
yeah..we were pretty ballsy back then..LOL

lots more to it and lots of other stories..but..as said..too much to type..

I think all of us old timers street race back in the day...Me being from FL we did alot of street racing ,gandy bridge,9th street,4 th street, range rd, 5th ave s,just to name a few places we street raced, But saturday night gandy bridge there would be 200 cars it was a good time, We haded big hitter like Alan dudly that came there and raced. But that was when we were young and dumb..But I do miss those days....

the sony plant in new stanton pa on sat nights. everyone would meet at mc donalds and put their slicks on, drive down the road and race on the on ramp. until the night the crowd was filled with undercover po po's with cameras. they took everyones license plate down and you got a visit the next week. then there was the night they had the helicopter, and 50 cop cars, i wont even get into that
