hi,
i just bought a U1603 diff yolk and i bought the N1918 shim kit to go with it.
strange says that you need the shim kit if you have a std or a daytona pinion support (and i have).
the kit comes with 2 different shims and im not sure where they go.

there are 2 different thicknesses do i put the thin one behind the yolk (on the pinion) and put the thick one under the nut?

anyway, if anyone can help, that would be great.

thanks, justin.

Justin, shoot an e-mail to [email protected] .
I think when we got my front bearing support it came with an instruction sheet because you need to set the bearing preload, more shims less preload less shims more preload. You check the drag with a torque wrench. I will look tonight for the sheet but in the mean time shoot them an e-mail.
