Took my boy to the range today. Had a lot of fun. However, when loading a mag in my Kimber UCII .45, I ran into this issue. It happened to be the first round in the mag, and it jammed on the ramp, preventing it from feeding. I cleared the jam, and looked close at the round. It was missing the ejector flange at the back side if the casing. I have never seen anything like it. Neither had the range master. It was really strange. Glad it happened at the range and not when I was counting on a bang when I needed it. Kusdos to my boy for noticing something was wrong even before he tried to pull the trigger!

looks like a defect. Call the ammo manufacture with the box on hand and they will replace it. They will need the lot number. The probably are aware of it. Can't make out the name. Is it Herter? Probably could just take it back to Bass Pro in that case.
