I have 3 inch drop springs on my s10 along with qa1 single adjustables. It seems that no matter what i set the shocks the springs down and right back up i feel that it is part of my traction problem due to the rear unloading. I also just installed some sliders but havent been to the track to try them. So how stiff should the rear really be?

Springs should be just stiff enough to hold the car/truck up at desired ride height. Rear shocks should be tight enough on compression to hold tire to the track to eliminate wheelhop and soft enough on extension to allow the tire to plant in a manner that doesn't unload the chassis.

Ok i am goin to scale my truck and find out how much weight is on the rear. Then look into some diff springs i guess.

That may help, if the spring is too stiff it will not allow the shock to do it's job.
