Might be a dumb question but....is it ok to weld the joints to tubing for the steering shaft or should it be pinned instead?

I like pinning it myself with bolts and steel selflocking nuts. makes taking it apart easier and does not put heat into the knuckle.

Shoulder bolts is the best thing to use so that when you tighten it up u dont egg shape the knuckle..and they are strong as hell.
