Did you see the amount of EMPTY seats at Norwalk? Just another sign of the times! It costs to much to go to NHRA race!

Better off at an ADRL race!!!! More fun anyway and the racing is WAY better!

Just my two cents.............

I was at the GROVE yesterday for the North East Pro Mod show and the stands were empty. I feel sorry for the track owners trying to keep the tracks operating and keep payroll going and of course improving the facility. It is the rain and economy that will cause a bunch of places to GO UNDER.....

Im sure if they gave away tens of thousands of free tickets like ADRL did in Memphis then the stands would be near full in Norwalk.

Norwalk has over 40k seats so if they were half empty thats 20k people how much are the tickets? And I bet they get some of the TV money as well!!! I am sure they made a ton of money still

I just came from there. Those stands looked pretty packed to me. We were sitting in the Napa loge and could see just about everywhere. Now i did see alot of people leave and walk around when certain classes were running.

Place was pretty empty on Fiday.... all things considered.

I haven't seen a crowd that light since they were running the IHRA event.

Was the ADRL Norwalk stands packed last year for their race, I think not that place holds alot of people more than many places. Like someone said even half full theres still 20k there not bad these days for a 50$ PAID ticket.

Id say the seats are 80% full or more from TV.

I bet there are a lot of people who wish the stock market was 80% of what it was a couple of years ago...

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't standing only tickets 55$. I had seats but stood all day. Last round of qualifying on Sat stood at starting line, East side, along fence. Fifty feet or so away. Best spot there in my opinion. Security guy was a "good ole boy" .

I was there today and I would say for first round the stands were at least 80%. Pretty good turn out I would say.

The line for ice cream was LONG. Funny it was longer than the line for the bathrooms. :-D
