The race will go as follows with the good lord willing and if the water don't rise...

Gates open @ 10am on Friday for SSO entries for parking.
2 Rounds of Qualifying on Friday @ 7-9 pm. We will qualify in pairs and you will have to alternate lanes during qualifying.

Saturday Open testing from 1-3pm with 1 round of qualifying @ 3:15 pm! We will Qualify in pairs on Saturday also.
Eliminations will start @ 5pm Saturday night.
We will run all cars that qualify up to 36!
There will be a maximum of one hour between all rounds so be ready for a quick turn around! The round ends with the last car down the track in the class.

SSO Entry fee for Driver/Car and 3 crew members are FREE for this race for both days!

Friday night low qualifier gets $250 plus a set of M/T slicks.

Saturday's Guaranteed purse is as follows
$2,000.00 to win Plus M/T Slicks
$750 Runner up Plus M/T Slicks
$250 Semis
$125 Quarters.

Spectator side gate will open at 3pm on Friday {07-31} and 10am on Saturday {08-01}. Friday night entry fee for Spectators is $10.00 a head on the Spectator Side and $15 a head on the Pit Side! Spectator entry on Saturday $20 a head on the Pit side or $25.00 a car load on the spectator side only. If you have a Military ID present you will get in for free @ this event on Saturday on the Spectator side only!

We are also open for any sponsors that want to put up money, gift certificates, or merchandise for this event, so drop us a line with that info @ 417-732-1500!

The rain date for this event is Sunday August 2nd with an open testing from 10-12 and eliminations starting @ 12pm. If we are still under rain @ Noon on Sunday the event will be rescheduled in October on the 24th





This is the rules for the SSO which will be run on 07/31/09 and 08/01/09. Jamond & Marty will handle all tech questions and if you want to sponsor this class please call Mitch @ 417-224-7178 or me Chris @ 417-732-1500

Engine / Exhaust
Any engine combination and power adders allowed. Engine must be in stock location. Mufflers required for all cars except turbo cars and inserts will be allowed. Turbo exhaust should be directed toward rear of car and must exit a minimum of 12 inches behind the front axle centerline.

Fuel and Fuel Systems
Any type of gasoline or alcohol is permitted. (NO Nitromethane)

Frame & Suspension
Any type rear suspension allowed. Wheelie bars are not allowed Stock firewall must be retained and in stock location. Notching for clearance of bell housing, distributor, supercharger or intercooler allowed.
Stock front frame rails and suspension required. Aftermarket control arms and bushings allowed as long as they bolt in stock locations. Rack and Pinion steering allowed. Aftermarket coil over shocks allowed and aftermarket direct replacement struts are allowed, but must bolt in stock location with the exception of aftermarket K-member. In the case of K-member cars, the upper control arm must bolt in stock location, but the K-member and lower control arms must still be removable.
After market bolt in sub-frame allowed. Must bolt in unaltered
stock OEM mounting locations. OEM suspension configuration required. These bolt on subframes must be from a manufacture with desiginated company part numbers and must be produced for the vehicle they were designed for from the manufacturer.

Tire
Any slick up to a 30 x 10.5" sidewall designation allowed. "W" tires are not allowed. They must be labeled from manufacture on sidewall, and may not exceed 10.5".
Drag radial's with a max size of 325/50. Max wheel size 12 inches in width.
DOT tires up to a 13.50R-15 allowed. Hoosier tire, part number 18192D05 will not be allowed. Wheel width may not exceed 13 inches

Miscellaneous
Cars must have WORKING factory style headlights and taillights in factory location.
Fiberglass hood, deck lid, and bumpers will be the only fiberglass allowed.
Lexan allowed, but it must maintain a factory appearance.
Cars will run on a .400 pro tree, for an 1/8th mile.
All cars must be able to pass track’s tech inspection - NO EXCEPTIONS. For further car specs, refer to IHRA rules and regulations.

HMMMMM, wonder how the Cad would work with the true 10's and no training wheels?
Shit! I'd be scared to swap tires on those dull ass wheels! LOL! Let's get'er done son! Should make for some good video anyway.

its sitting right here, a little bracket work under neath and I think it will be good to go, ;). dont hate the player, hate the game,LOL.
this car probably wouldnt go down on a little tire for anything, heck i am having a tuff time w/ w's.

Not hatin,just curious.Remembered seeing the build up pics of it.
I'd be more worried about the guy that has gone 4.70s there already!!!!!

don can put the number up... thats for sure. he'll definately be buckin for that #1 spot friday night to get those tires. he said he was due for some new skin last race....lol

we'll be there just tryin to put up a decent consistant number and try to go rounds ;)

Why are you limiting the radial to a 28" tall tire?
